Free Ordering by Size Worksheet – Cut and Paste (PDF)

Mastering Sequencing: Small, Medium, Large Ordering by size is a critical logic skill that goes beyond simple comparison. While identifying ‘tall’ vs ‘short’ involves just two objects, ordering requires analyzing three or more items to create a sequence. This worksheet focuses on arranging objects in ascending vertical order.

Why Cut and Paste? We designed this as a Cut and Paste activity for a specific reason. Moving the pieces physically allows children to trial different arrangements before committing to an answer. It turns an abstract math concept into a concrete, hands-on task.

How to Use

1. Cut: Carefully cut out the three figures at the bottom of the page.
2. Arrange: Place them in a row to find the ‘steps’ pattern (Shortest -> Tallest).
3. Paste: Glue them into the numbered boxes (1-2-3) in the correct order.
